The Story Behind LDM
The Question that Changed Everything
Hi, I'm Eleanor Kolossovski.
I started my career as a molecular biologist, driven by the potential of science to improve human health. While working at the bench, I witnessed a recurring tragedy: extraordinary breakthroughs—innovations that could change lives—failing to reach patients.
I found myself asking: What does it take to move a discovery to the people who need it the most?
This question changed my career trajectory.
“I moved from the lab to the commercial sector because I realized that in life sciences, a breakthrough is only as good as the organization's ability to bring it to the patient.”
Two Decades in Tools and Diagnostics
I spent the next 20 years searching for that answer by operating across the entire commercial lifecycle. Leading teams across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Business Development, and Strategy, I saw the same patterns repeat in global market leaders or high-growth startups alike.
Technical excellence is a great starting point, but on its own it's just potential. The breakthroughs that actually reach patients come from organizations that know how to translate innovation into products that drive customer outcomes and business value across the lifecycle, from launch through maturity.
That organizational capability is what I now call Product Excellence.
Experience Shaped LDM's Perspective

My experience across these organizations taught me that the path from bench to bedside is a series of distinct inflection points. As you move from early adopters to the broader market, or from a single product to a complex portfolio, the rules of the game change.
The commercial architecture that carried your discovery through its first phase is rarely equipped for the complexity of the next milestone. When growth begins to feel unnecessarily hard, it is usually because the existing approach has been outpaced by the requirements of the new stage. To move forward, the architecture itself must be redesigned.
Our Purpose
I founded LDM Product Excellence to build the bridge between innovation and impact.
LDM partners with life science tools and diagnostics companies to turn scientific breakthroughs into sustained market success. We design the commercial blueprint that combines portfolio strategy and go-to-market plan with repeatable execution to help leaders navigate critical inflection points with clarity and confidence.
Our goal is simple: extend the reach of innovation to advance discovery and improve health outcomes.
